Destiny Homeschool Support Group was created out of the need in our church body to connect with like minded homeschoolers who believe it is their duty to train their children in the way they should go (Prov. 22:6) and have chosen homeschooling as a tool to fulfill that command. We adhere to the beliefs and statement of faith of Destiny Christian Church. DHSG provides community and fellowship for homeschooling families. Homeschooling can be an amazing season for you and your family, but often times can be isolating if we let it. Join DHSG and find Christ centered encouragement, field trips, teen events, extra curricular opportunities and much more!

Our encouragement nights are for parents only, typically moms gather to hear a topic and encourage and build one another up.
We are a group of families that believe it is our God given responsibility to educate our children. We believe we must support and encourage one another in this journey of homeschooling and strive to create a community that is ‘one anothering’. It is important to have support in areas of life that can be overwhelming. (1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Parent-led field trips are a vital part of any homeschooling curriculum. They make learning fun and memorable and provide children a place to socialize with other children that are homeschooled. We have many parents that organize a variety of field trip opportunities, including teen specific field trips. Park days are also great for children to play with one another, make new friends and strengthen current relationships. Not only that, but parents are given space to fellowship, share any struggles, and/or tips and tricks of homeschooling. These are easy gatherings and a good way to get to know some new people.
